Jilian Hervey and Astro Raw, a.k.a. Lion Babe, have delivered a steady stream of bangers of late, most recently minimal slow-jam ‘Honey Dew’. The duo are back with a funky banger, however, which goes by the name ‘The Wave’ and features none other than Leikeli47 – a mysterious Brooklyn rapper who is known for her trademark ski mask. The result of the collaboration is an R&B/funk hybrid, which was inspired by time spent in their hometown of New York. The track is part of the duo’s upcoming album, which is their first since they dropped Begin in 2016 to critical acclaim.
